What is the difference between an STNA and a CNA? STNA and CNA are the same thing? It is called CNA in some states but here in Ohio it is called STNA.

How many hours is a class? 75 total hours, 59 classroom hours, and 16 clinical hours.

How long are the classes? 2 weeks long.

What skills will I learn in class? How to provide care for the elderly and the ill, learning and applying job safety and infection control, bathing, grooming, feeding, ambulating residents, and dressing.

How many students are in a class? We average 16 to 24 students.

Do I need a uniform for class? Yes, navy blue scrubs.

Is the text book included? The textbook is leased.

Do I need to have a High School Diploma or GED to take this class? No.

Do I need to have a background check before taking this class? No, there is no background check required to take the class.
